Cant Get Enough of Accessories - Aldo Haul

I need to go shopping again...

So about a week or two ago, i did some "much needed" retail therapy to get away from all the studying and cramming.. (im going to go straight to the mall after im done with all my final exams! lol) anyways, i ended up buying a few accessories and a pair of heels from aldo! and i loveee everything i got :) so today, i'm just sharing with you guys what i got...

sorry.. my nails are chipping bad and i havent had time to redo them :(

So i purchased this gorgeous snake ring! i was born in the year of the snake so i am totallly loving this! (although it freaked out my friend lol cause she hates snakes) still, i think its gorgeous! what do you think?

ohhh, and one of my other friends told me that a celebrity from china (or was it taiwan?) has a snake ring TATTOOED on her finger! how sweet is that? haha i totally need to ask my friend again for her name so i can search her up and show you guys :)

I also bought a girly necklace :) its very simple and chic, i love it! the old key, the pink rose and the white pearl brings a vintage feel which i am totally digging!

and last but definitely not least! i bought myself another pair of heels! lol i seriously cant get enough of shoes and bags and makeup and omg.. everything LOL please tell me im not the only one with a major shopping problem?

anyways, these shoes were 50% off and i picked them out because i totally need a pair of heels that was more sophisticated and suitable for work. plus, they are SUPER comfy and have a nice suede detailing! andd, since they are more of a natural shade, they make my legs look longer then they actually are *score!* haha but seriously, for about $25, i think this was a good buy :)

these shoes are more of a lighter grey taupe in real life, sorry! lol my lighting totally sucked today...

and thats about it! sorry about the short post again today, i totally am overwhelmed with all the material i need to know for my finals :( i seriously cant wait till my finals are over because i am in neeeeed of some new makeup products in my life! i've been reading so many blog posts and its making me crave everything!! lol okay, i hope you all have an amazing week and i'll be back soon hopefully with a makeup haul! <3

Mini Jewelry Haul & New Organizer

Today's post will just be a quick mini jewelry haul and my new way of organizing them! Since being more organized was one of my new years resolution, I was super excited to find this organizer at my local winners store because it was exactly what i needed to help organize all my accessories :)

this is what it looks like...

it is pretty big and can hold a lot of jewelry

both sides of this organizer are the same, each consisting of mainly small see through pockets with 3 larger pockets on the bottom row

larger pockets on the bottom

----------------------------------------

and now on to my mini jewelry haul :)

these 4 pairs of earrings were actually not purchased by me, but given to me as a gift from my cousin from hong kong. arent they adorable???

i love these! even though it looks like two,  they are actually just one pair of earrings. the top looks like just a normal stud, but then a little crown hangs off and loops around from the back. super cute!

these definitely remind me of cinderella :) a little cute carriage and a gorgeous heel. definitely all i need to feel like im living my own cinderella story! :)

the next two pairs are more 'exotic' and both are textured. feels kind of like coarse animal hair, but the texture makes these earrings so much fun! i LOVE the zebra one because they are unmatched. ever since i got my "love is not equal" earrings from Jenny (review here), i LOVE purposely unmatched earrings. they are just so much fun!

-------------------------------

these are the rings i purchased recently as part of my mini jewelry haul. i found a cute little store that was having a a pretty good sale and got most of these for $2 or less :D

all the rings :)

these two flower rings were just too cute to not pick up! the metallic gunmetal grey one is just so gorgeous and shiny :) these flowers are also a very good size, not too big and not too small :) perfect for just accessorizing with casual everyday wear.

this white ring is absolutely gorgeous! the inside is a white silver metal rose, and around it are these little white pearls. so pretty! this ring would be perfect for dressing up a casual outfit to make it more girly  :)

i got this one cause it looked like so much fun. the smaller silver balls help tone down the darker black pearls as well as give the ring more contrast. as a result, i think this ring could match with pretty much anything and would be gorgeous both for casual wear and for partying!

i got this ring because it looked so vintage and reminded me of the crown of thorns that jesus wore. even without the whole religious symbolism behind it, i think this ring itself is so unique and i really really love the rusted gold/bronze shade :)

i also picked up this set of bracelets, one is a thicker band with a cute squiggly design and the other is super fun with two bands held together by silver balls :)

---------------------------------

finally, im sure you're wondering how i put my new organizer to use.. :) here's how i ended up organizing my jewelry! (note, i havent completely put all my accessories in this organizer just quite yet)

one side - earrings & hair accessories

other side - rings and bracelets and necklaces

the lower pockets are bigger so it can hold more stuff

lots of room :)

and while im organizing, i'll show you some of my all time favourite accessories :)

tiffany & co bracelete from bf
necklace from h&m

bracelet from hk
necklace from h&m (same as one above)

rings from forever 21

bracelet from forever 21

earrings from forever 21

chanel symbol studs from hk (fake)
rose petal studs from hk
pearl studs from forever 21
music note studs from hk

white watches from hk

and thats it for jewelry and accessories :) and just to end off this post, i'll let you in on whats coming up next couple of posts... since its my 21st birthday on thursday (Jan 13th) *yay* i'll finally be legal everywhere! lol i picked up a few goodies for myself :) i will most likely be posting what i hauled sometime soon so be on the look out for those!

*hint - i got some mac goodies (just a bit) and finally found those wet n wild LE holiday palettes!!! plus, i hope my sedona lace brushes will be here in time for my birthday!*

Gorgeous Jewelry from Jenny!

Today im going to be reviewing some gorgeous jewelry hand crafted by the lovely Jenny Cheung from TickleMyHeartPink

taken with my iphone

Firstly though, i must make a quick note..

Pinkbox Makeup is not associated with Pinkbox Jewelry, even though it would be reasonable to assume so lol. I encountered Jenny's blog (TickleMyHeartPink) prior to learning about her hand crafted jewelry and it was amazing (and extremely hilarious) to learn that we both share the same 'name' - Pinkbox :) We live in such a small world!

Anyways, a little bit about my own personal experience with Jenny.

When i first saw Jenny blog and tweet about her newest hand crafted creations, i was really excited! I remember browsing through her site - Pinkbox Jewelry - and wishing i had the same talent as she did with her jewelry. As time passed and christmas got closer, Jenny started to create many many more gorgeous creations! she posted a few new ones every couple of days and there just got to a point when i couldnt hold back anymore! i just had to pick something for myself :)

Im not sure if any of you who follow me on twitter saw me twitpic these, but i was originally choosing between the following items: *pictures taken from Pinkbox Jewelry*

stunning pink necklace

baroque and personalized charm

 love is not equal earrings

But because i was still new to Pinkbox Jewelry, i decided to withstrain myself to just choosing one piece of jewelry... and i ended up choosing and purchasing the "Love is Not Equal" earrings during Jenny's black friday sale (30% off earrings, 20% off everything else!). During this whole process, I was also contacted by Jenny herself for a review! I was extremely happy and excited as i have been drooling over some of her creations for some time now :) so of course, i happily accepted her offer.

Now this was where i was most amazed with the time and effort Jenny put into her work. Not only did she answer and reply to all my emails quickly, but she also put in the effort to ask me specific questions in order for her to customize the perfect jewelry for me! I had not expected this, (not even from larger companies) and was very very happy with what she did. This told me that Jenny really puts her whole heart and effort into every creation, wanting them to fit perfectly with the customer's style and expectations.

-------------------------------

Anyways, after i made my order for the earrings, Jenny contacted me shortly saying that it had been shipped with a surprise in it! :D So i received her package last week (late review due to me cramming for my finals) and fell in love with everything! First off, just look at the cute packaging :) its pink! haha of course, everything inside was bubble wrapped nicely so the package arrived safe and sound :)

inside, i found the prettiest jewelry box along with some extra goodies! - a cute pink flower jewelry box, two yummy gummy candies as well as a lovely note from Jenny herself :)

gorgeous box :) with lovely stickers!

i loveee this :) its staying in my purse now so i can keep a few pieces of jewelry on me for when i need it! :D

yummmmmmmmy :) these were long gone haha

In the note, along with many thanks for choosing Pinkbox Jewelry, Jenny had provided several tips and suggestions for how to approach a review. She also generously provided me with a code to share with my readers! (Enter "Pinkbox" in the comment section when paying with Paypal to receive a 10% discount on your purchase!)

Now, its time to take a look at the jewelry!

first up, is the pair of "Love is Not Equal" earrings that i purchased myself.
i loveeeeee how the two sides are different! I know its not the norm, but sometimes, being different is okay too! The little pearls, the lovely bow, and of course, the amazing sparkly pink hearts make this piece absolutely gorgeous.

Next, i was sent the "baroque and personalized charm" necklace for review!

i really must thank Jenny for sending me this. I had previously mentioned to her that i couldnt decide between the earrings or this necklace because i loveeeed both! and look what she sent me :) *yay* i fell in love with this piece because of its simplicity. One simple gorgeous jewel. However, it was the small "a" next to it (a for agnes of course lol) that really set this apart from any others. I love customized pieces and the "a" just made it feel like it was made for me :)

now some more pics of me camwhoring with the jewelry LOL

Overall, i am extremely happy with my purchase as well as the necklace sent for review. Not only did the jewelry exceed my expectations, but the customer service and attention to detail provided by Jenny just sealed the deal. I really do recommend for you to check out her blog as well as her site. I am sure you will be as happy as i was. Plus, if you dont see a piece you like, Jenny is more than happy to custom design a jewelry for you! Even if you see a piece you like but want a different color, you can email her (pinkboxjewelry@gmail.com) your requests :) Here are some more pictures of her other creations!
