Tweet Mini Sephora Haul!

Hello my lovelies!! 

Its that time of the year when beauty insiders get 15% off our Sephora purchase! I didn't go too crazy with my haul, just picked up two things. One that I knew I was going to get before I got to Sephora, and the other completely unknowingly but I'm so excited to try it!

Fresh's sugar lip treatment is currently my all time favorite lip balm! Ever since I got it as my Sephora birthday gift, I have been addicted! It smells like sweet lemon meringue and moisturizes so well!

I have been looking for a new tinted moisturizer since... forever. I have been using my Origins vitazing for the longest time and while i love it, I was looking for something more formulated to help control my shine etc. So while browsing the aisles at Sephora, I came across Tarte's amazonian clay tinted moisturizer! I tested it out on the back of my hand and I immediately loved the texture. Not oily, not shiny, not drying, not thick but just right. Of course, I cant say for sure until I test it out completely but that review will come later!

I also love all the things its formulated without and how it has spf 20!

Tweet Loving my New H&M Printed Pants!

Hello my lovelies!!

The weather here has been slowly getting better and I am so excited for Spring to finally be here so that I can wear my new printed pants to work! I picked this up at H&M and fell in love immediately. Pairing it with a simple white blouse tank made it the perfect spring outfit.

Tweet Get ready for spring with Illamasqua's speckled nail polish in scarce!!

Hello my lovelies!!

Today while browsing at Sephora, I picked up Illamasqua's speckled nail polish in scarce! Their new limited edition polishes are gorgeous and remind me of little cute speckled eggs. For $18, it was definitely a splurge but it was too pretty to pass up! What do you think??


I paired it with Chanel's blue rebel as scarce contains some blue speckles among the pink and I am loving this combo!!!

Tweet Half Skeleton Halloween Makeup

Happy early Halloween!


What are you going to be for Halloween this year? I decided that I wanted to play around with more makeup and went with doing a skeleton on half of my face. I also did the same look on my boyfriend and although it turned out way better on him (it's so much easier doing makeup on someone else...) I am really happy with how it turned out overall! What do you think?

These lippies have great pigmentation and are nice additions to your collection, but I felt like they needed some effort to make them work. They definitely aren't the type you grab as you hurry out the door. Since these are fairly drying, I would highly recommend you apply lip balm prior to the lipstick itself and possibly add a gloss over top to smooth things over.

I have missed you all so much! I know its been almost a year since I've posted but well, life's been a bit crazy and I'll just leave it at that. Thanks a million to those who have held on through this dry spell and I promise not to let you all down again! :)

Now that I am back, I plan on bringing a lot more into my blog, posting not only more makeup product reviews and swatches, but also adding a touch of fashion, outfits, style and a bit of my everyday life. For now, here is a little snapshot of what my life consisted of during this past week or so...

Tweet Gold & Silver Nails

I miss the holidays already...

So i decided to give my nails a slight festive hint to them by using some silver and gold glitter polishes.

I still wanted to keep my nails simple and clean, so i started off with a light pink base (Forever 21 love & beauty). I then lined the tips of my nails with half silver and half gold (U&A polishes) The gold gave a more warm tone to the overall effect and although it may not be really obvious, i liked the ending result.
