Purchases of the Day: H&M Skirts + Rings

Oh dear.. i think H&M has officially become my new favourite store to go to. Everytime i go in, i can always find amazing pieces that i just have to buy! So here are my newest purchases :)

Firstly, i found my perfect floral skirt! I absolutely LOVEE this skirt :) Its more of a classic take on the floral print since its black, white and grey. the skirt fits very well and looks great with a waist belt. (will post an Outfit of the day soon since i wore this out for my friend's birthday :D)

I also purchased a more colorful floral skirt which is perfect for summer. This skirt however, flares out which is really cute and fun :) Overall, i love both skirts (although i do like the black and white slightly one better :p) and i think they're two different skirts that are great for different occassions :)

Here are some more examples of floral skirts! arent they prettttyy? hehe btw, im testing out this new widget by Shopstyle! i think its pretty cool! you can create looks, search products etc so it'd be fun for showcasing some looks or products that i've been craving :)

Andd.. i couldnt help myself to some more rings from forever 21 :) tooo cuteee! ohh, and how cute are the double finger rings? i loveee them!

UPDATE - I got a few more recently so i thought i might as well add them in here too :)

What do you think? have you made any purchases recently that you are loving and want to share? let me know in the comments :D id love to know what you got!

Purchases of The Day: H&M Dresses + Accessories

Todays post will be some "purchases of the day" that i actually made awhile ago but kept forgetting to post on. (opps!)

Firstly.. i think i've finally found my dress for my bf's cousins' wedding :) its this gorgeous lacey cocktail dress with a bow in the middle that i bought from H&M. I love it !! :D

I also picked up this simple dress with poofy sleeves. It was on sale for $7 CAD!! Although it is quite simple, i am really liking this as well. it makes my legs seem longer and the poofy sleeves also add some detail to the simpleness :) plus, i lovee the color! natural but looks great on! :D i think i'll go back and get another but in a nude color :) hehe

I also picked up two rings. One (the turquoise one) from Aldo Accessories and the other (the bow) from Forever 21. I love both equally! The turquoise one makes a perfect addition for summer as it goes amazingly well with coral colors. The ring one pretty much goes with anything and is super kawaii! i loveeeeeeeeee it :)

What do you think? Have any of you found any new great additions to your closet? I'd love to hear about them! :D

H&M Spring Dresses for $5.95 !!

Hi everyone! I am super excited to share with you girls my new H&M spring dresses! I was having a quick lunch at the food court and on the way back to the car... noticed that H&M had a sale! Of course, i had to go in and take a look and thank god i did :D Cause i picked up 4 BEAUTIFUL spring/summer dresses for $5.95 EACH! what an amazing deal :D Here they are:

I got two tube top dresses, one striped and one in grey. I also REALLY wanted the black one but they had no more in my size :'( .. anyways, these fit really nice and probably go to a bit above my knees. Pairing these with a short cardigan or spring jacket plus some accessories would make for a great spring look!

I also picked up two of these longer dresses. they are very similar to maxi dresses but shorter in length with a racerback design. They are made of a beautiful soft flowy material and on the models from their website, they're actually above the knees. However, on short little me, they go below my knees lol. These are loose fitting and would be great for those really hot days because the material allows air through. I think wearing this on top of a tank top or halter top plus some fun summer sandels would make for a great summer look! Im thinking these could also be great for throwing on top of your swimsuit for a day at the beach.. but unfortuantely, there are no beaches anywhere near calgary so i'd have to save that thought for vacations :(

Have any of you girls seen these at your local H&M stores? or even bought any? I am super lovingg them because of the good quality and SUPER CHEAP PRICE! seriously, these probably cost as much as a tank top from forever 21.. which was a good enough deal for me! haha so what do you think? Are you loving them or will you probably pass?

Purchases of the day - Lipstick & Nail Polish

Yesterday I wandered around at the mall, not really looking for anything in particular. But.. I ended up purchasing another Maybelline lippie - in Peach Colada, two Sally Hansen nail polishes and Sally Hansen's "manicure in a minute". I really have to learn to control myself!

Firstly, isnt this colour pretty? I dont have much coral shades so i thought this would be perfect to test out :) I have previously tried this in Nude Blush and really liked it! It was very moisterizing and smelled like watermelons :D but i will tell you more about that later when i post up a review with swatches.

This is kind of embarrassing, but i've been testing so many different nail polish colours that my nails look like this... my friend told me they look like a little kid's nails hahaha I love that green jade colour but didnt end up buying it because i just dont know when i would wear it.. but... now im thinking i should return to purchase it one day :)

I did however, purchase two of Sally Hansen's nail polishes :) These are gorgeous colours. There was also a grey shade beside these two which matched beautifully and i wouldve bought it if it werent almost identical to Rimmel's Steel Grey. You can see my review on Steel Grey and nail swatches with 5 days of wear here, or at 8 days here. I will be posting up nail swatches for these two nail polishes shortly so stay tuned :)

The last of my purchases was Sally Hansen's Manicure in a Minute. I was actually very close to purchasing the 60 second manicure scrub from Bath and Body Works, but since this was priced at $8.99 CAD (compared to $14.50 for Bath and Body Works), I ended up choosing this instead. Also, my good friend highly recommended this manicure in a minute which she said made her hands super soft! I cant wait to try it and will definately post a review as soon as i do!!

Hope your day went well! My boyfriend told me that i always end up buying something everytime we go to the drugstore.. haha its true :( i guess i just cant help it! i always want to try something new :) Please tell me i'm not the only one lol..

Purchases of the day - Clothing, Accessories & Hair Product

My boyfriend and I decided to head to Crossiron mills (up in Balzac) for some shopping today :) Although it is outside of the city, we live up in the North and with the newly opened ring roads, it was quite a short drive there. Here are some of my purchases :)

Forever 21 Dress

This dress is absolutely gorgeous! I lovee it :) I originally purchased it because my boyfriend's cousin is getting married this summer and i wanted a summery dress to wear. But after trying it on, i dont think i can wait until the end of july before wearing this! I was thinking of pairing this with a bolder statement necklace, some pearl bracelets, a belt and a little black clutch :) Something like this..

I also purchased a tank top from H&M and i love the sailor-ish style :) This tank top is a bit longer than usual ones and would be great for layering under a jacket :) The Aldo clutch is also one of my favourite purchases of the day! Its quilt patterned and pretty much has everything i love.. the turn handle to open and a detachable gold chain. ♥ I also picked up two more necklaces at Aldo Accessories (they were on sale! buy 1 get 1 free!).

Closer look at the Aldo Clutch ♥

Necklaces from Aldo Accessories

I also picked up CHI's silk infusion from a salon. I've been looking all over for this and was really close to purchasing this online. The price is a bit steep for the amount you get ($22.24 for 6oz), but i heard really good things about this and how it makes your hair really soft and shiny. Plus, you only really need a small amount so it should last me awhile! I will be reviewing this after testing it out for abit :)

So thats it for my purchases of the day! We also picked up some caramel and candy apples ♥ Super yummyy! I hope you guys had a great day :)
