Take a Peek at ELF's Blushes!

Next up on the ELF reviews are the blushes :) I purchased two blushes from their studio line - Fuschia Fusion and Candid Coral - and 3 of their mineral blushes - Joy (mauve lilac), Coral (peachy coral) and Rose (bright rosy pink).

Fuschia Fusion - a bright shimmery light pink
Candid Coral - a gorgeous peachy coral with slight shimmer
Joy - a mauvey lilac shade with pink undertones
Coral - a light coral shade, much more skin toned when compared to Candid Coral which had heavier peach undertones
Rose - a darker reddish pink with hints of peachy orange shades.

Have you tried these blushes before? I know peachykeen and some other studio blushes are quite popular.. but since i already have NARS orgasm and the ELF blush/bronzer duo, i decided to choose some other colors that i dont have much of in my collection :)

awww im sure you dont! applying blush isnt as hard as you think! just smile to find the apples of your cheeks and then apply the blush to that spot and sweep back! or you can just keep the blush on the apples if you want. up to you :)
I have all of the Studio blushes except for one, and I love them all! :D I haven't tried the Mineral blushes before, thanks for the swatches! I really wanted to try Coral, but I'm glad I saw the swatch. I think I'll pass on that one, it looks to light for me :(

i am loving the studio blushes! i wish i got moreeeeeee haha :D mm the mineral ones are not as pigmented and shiny, but they're not bad for a very natural flush. glad the swatches helped :) i think coral is one i'd have to pair with another blush :p
lovely colours!
i always want to try E.L.F products but unfortunately they don't sell them where i live and E.L.F doesn't ship internationally so that is a bummer too :(
thanks for sharing! i might hunt for their stuff the next time i go overseas :p

thank youu :) awww! if you ever get the chance you should pick up some of their products! specifically from their studio line! most of the products that i have tried from the studio line impressed me :D good luck!!
My Target just started selling ELF! I was thinking about trying some stuff!! I have tried the mascara and it was yucky :( How do you like the quality of these!!! both colors look really pretty!! http://lisamarie337.blogspot.com/

oh yay! i have never tried their mascara as i have decided to stay loyal to covergirl's lash blast :p haha but the studio blushes are very very very nice! the quality of most of ELF's studio products are amazing! i love them :) as for the mineral, they're not bad.. but i think the studio ones are more smooth. as you can sort of see, the mineral ones can be slightly chalky and they definately arent as silky and shiny :D haha hope this helps and good luck!!
Coincidentally, these are the 2 studio blushes from E.L.F that I didn't get! What a shame, they are very very pretty. And you didn't really miss out on not buying peachy keen, it's my least favourite of the 6 shades that I bought. I'm doing a review of them soon!

haha what a coincidence! :p i just randomly chose these colors as i dont have any of their studio blushes and i just love them :) they're both more unique since most of my other blushes tend to be a soft pink or something like orgasm. im glad i didnt miss out on peachy keen! i cant wait for your review! i would love to know your favourites so i know which ones to get next time <3
Hey girl I tagged u in a tag on my page <3 http://lisamarie337.blogspot.com/2010/08/i-tag-yo...

aww thanks for the tag :D
I've ordered ELF Mineral Blush in Coral but after looking at your swatches, I doubt it'll show up on my skin. I'm a Chinese from Malaysia and I have slightly tanned skin tone. What do you think? Is the blush pigment buildable if I layer it for a couple of times? Need your advice~

Hey Joan! I think you'll be okay as you can build it up for more color :) the coral shade swatches pretty light on my arms but i find it shows up pretty nice on cheeks.. So don't worry! worse case you can always mix it with another shade since it is loose powder to create a custom shade for yourself :) good luck!
Fuhh...glad to hear that. Yeah, I hope this blush will not disappoint me. It's my first attempt at ELF products and mineral makeup, which I heard is good for the skin (makeup + skincare at the same time). Oh yeah, what about the lasting power for the ELF blushes (both mineral and studio lines)? And have you seen the latest studio blush; Gotta Glow?! OMG, it's so pretty, but obviously it's not a blush, more of a highlighter. Some people even claim it's a dupe for Nars Albatross. I don't use highlighter, yet I ordered it. Hahaha! Now I feel guilty~
I love Candid Coral! One of my fav blushes!
