FOTD using The Body Shop Eyeshadow Palette

Just a quick look I pulled together..

This look was done using my new eyeshadow palette from the body shop "Brush with Fashion" collection which i recently reviewed. I used all four colors from the palette.. taking the shimmery pink all over the lid, the shimmery white in inner corners and to highlight, the silver in the crease and the matte black in the outer corners. I also smudged the matte black shade onto my lashline instead of using an eyeliner, this gives a less defined look.

I kind of like the ending result! it isnt your everyday eye look type since most of the shades are very shimmery, but for a special date or fun occasion, this would definitely be nice :) and of course, keep the palette in your purse and then all you need to do with amp up the corners with the silver and black and you can easily transform your day look into a night look :)

btw... please excuse my heavy bags.... this is what 4 years of university did to me haha

i hope you liked it as much as i did! this is probably what i'll be wearing during some parts of my grad trip! :D for a look more suitable for daily wearing, i like to use just the shimmery pink and white shades.. just to brighten up my eyes :) that will probably be what i wear most, i'll get you guys a picture of that look when i come back :) until then, have a wonderful summer!

Ready for Spring! EOTD & Outfit

Corals spells out SPRING!

I cant wait till spring gets here because im so sick of this cold freezing weather :( and while i cant control the weather and make it stay nice and warm all year long, I lovee using coral eyeshadows to bring the feeling of spring a little closer :)

all colors used from my Sedona Lace ultra shimmer palette
shimmery light pink to highlight, coral shade all over lid, and a purple grey on outer corners

aw man, please excuse my crazy eyebrows! im trying to grow them back out LOL

and although this outfit wasnt really for 'spring', i still like wearing this on nights out because with weather that can get as low as -40, i am not risking wearing a mini dress to wait outside clubs!

So i opted for a nice unique top (i totally love the design of this one! it looks like a normal black top in the front, but has a gorgeous open back design!) , paired with skinny jeggings and of course, black high heels (not shown in below pictures but you know what i mean haha) :D

anyways, i'll be back with product reviews very soon! tried out the sleek primer palette again today and am loving the colors... but i'll give you all the whole rundown with swatches of that palette in the next post ;) take care!!

Valentine Eyes and Nails ♥

Happy Valentines Day ♥

No matter what you have planned for tomorrow and who you are spending it with, I wish you have an amazing valentines day! :) Todays post is just a quick valentines day look i did while playing around with my Sedona Lace 88 ultra shimmer palette :) (click here for full review and full swatches available parts 1, 2, and 3)

I did one thats slightly smokier and one thats lighter and more appropriate for daytime wear.. although in reality, they both are pretty similar and you probably cant tell the difference from far away lol :P  i hope you enjoy it! :)

My nails of the day are further down in this post.. if you're just looking for that, keep scrolling! ;)

okay... now the following pics are just me playing around with my camera lol so please.. dont laugh at me :(

first... a normal picture... with my normal small eyelids :(

and then.. what my eyes would look like if i had bigger eyelids and more space to work with!!!! *i wish*

LOL
i know it looks freaky overall hahaha but doing eye makeup would be so much easier lol :P and it would look so much prettier cause you can see all the different colors haha :D

i love hello kitty ^^

and possibly, a more 'valentine's' related picture :P

in case you're wondering the shades i used, here are some swatches!

and finally, my nails! i wanted to do something more special for valentines, but since i had my grad pictures yesterday, i decided to just keep it simple and stick to a normal french manicure. the only thing i really did to give it a more polished and feminine look was to add some rhinestones to my fourth fingers.

with my new pink bumper tehe ^^

polishes used:
blush of adrenaline, shop around the clock, Orly top 2 bottom (top coat)

Nail rhinestones from ebay

thats it for today :) i hope you all have an amazing valentines day!! spend it with the ones you love whether it is that special someone or just friends and family :) cherish the moments you have with each and every one of them and spread the love! <3

p.s. if you havent already, why dont you check out my Sigma F80 flat top kabuki giveaway? :) there will be 2 winners! good luck! :D

MAC FOTD - Prance & Satin Taupe

Hi everyone :)

So ive been getting alot of requests to put up some FOTDs and EOTDs showing how i used my new MAC eyeshadows :) as well, there have been some requests for a before and after picture using MAC Fix + ! So i thought i might as well kill two birds with one stone, and do them both in one post :)

So for today, i decided to use two MAC eyeshadows to create a very very subtle look. i was heading to school and didnt want anything too dramatic. As a result, i didnt use a primer, but just a concealer as a base. In addition, i also blended throughly so that the colors were very soft and more suitable for school.

During...
You could spray this on and leave it to dry, but i find that it will be slightly uneven because the more concentrated areas will look more shiny .. therefore, i like to use a duo fibre stippling brush to distribute the product evenly

after MAC Fix +

after MAC Fix +

There isnt a huge noticeable difference, especially in pictures lol.. but in reality, i really do feel a lot more refreshed, as if i wasnt wearing too much makeup or powder. Plus, i think after using MAC Fix +, my makeup looks more smooth and softened, kind of combining the powder & foundation together so it looks more natural.

Eyeshadows used:

Prance in center of lid and in tear duct area
Satin Taupe around Prance (both outer and inner corners) and to line

i will be posting more EOTD and FOTD soon using the other shades i got from MAC :) but for now, i hope you enjoyed today's post and have a good day!

-------------------------------------------

p.s. i did this look again today, except instead of bringing satin taupe into the inner corners, i just left it in the outer corners. i loved the result! not too heavy but great for an everyday look :) i think i'll be wearing this Prance-Satin Taupe combo very often!!
