Packaging Overview - 5/5
These studio eyeshadows are housed in single pan containers which are consistent with the rest of the studio line. you see the same black cases with a small window hole so you can see the shade inside. all the shadows are also labelled on the back with a sticker so you can tell which shade is what. the inside also has a small mirror... which doesnt really do much cause its so small, but its nice to have if you're doing some quick touchups on the go. overall, very sturdy packaging.

Product Overview - 4/5
These eyeshadows are smoooooooooooth! they almost have a buttery feeling to them and both apply and blend quite nicely. The pigmentation is decent, although if you really want the colors to pop, i'd recommend using a primer. the staying power is quite nice too! there is very little, if any at all, signs of creasing and with a primer, these definately last all day.

Pros
- buttery soft eyeshadows
- long lasting power
- very little creasing or fallout, if any
- good packaging, travel friendly
- inexpensive

Cons
- limited shades to choose from (some are quite similar)
- you may have trouble locating these if you're outside the US

Overall - 4.5/5
Great shadows for great prices! You can quite a bit of product (0.097oz) for about $3 (or even cheaper if you can score these during a sale!) and the quality is top notch! i'd definately recommend these if you ever get the chance!

and now onto the mineral shadows!

for some reason, my camera cant pick up the color of royal! it has much more of a purple tone to it in reality although it looks almost brown in pictures... i'll try to take some better pictures later and see if i can catch that purple! ><

Packaging overview - 3/5
The packaging of these shadows are decent. I find that along with many other ELF products, there is alot of inconsistency. For example, while i found their lipglosses to be non-sticky, i have heard complaints from others that they are extremely sticky! Similarly, the packaging of some ELF products also vary from time to time. Within the TWO eyeshadows i got, one had a lid that fit perfectly and another that just didnt fit all the way. However, they do keep the product inside and there is no leakage whatsoever so i guess i shouldnt be complaining. The main thing i think, is that the sifter holes are a bit too big and square.. which means there is a high chance you may end up getting the product all over the place. (read MESSY)

Product Overview - 4.5/5
The shadows by themselves (no primer needed!) have very very good pigmentation. A little goes a long way so definately keep that in mind when sifting that shadow out! Also, these eyeshadow pack in some INTENSE shimmer! If you're not one who can handle extreme shimmer, i'd recommend you pass on the shimmer shades and stick with the matte ones. But quality wise, these are amazing and they also last a long time too! At $3 a piece, these shadows are definately well worth it and quite comparable to BE mineral shadows! The only holdback here is that it can get a bit messy, but that goes for all other mineral shadows and pigments!

Pros
- super pigmented!
- extremely shimmery .. which could also be a con depending on what you like
- long lasting power
- inexpensive

Cons
- you could experience some fallout as it is powder
- as with all other ELF products, it could be hard to get your hands on these

Overall - 4/5
These are great mineral shadows, especially for the price paid! The packaging could be better, but for $3, i'll live. especially since the shadow itself is quite amazing! Super pigmented, super shimmery, and last quite some time! Main holdback would be slight fallout and the fact that powder/mineral shadows are usually quite messy.

Phew! that was a long post. my bad! but i hope this helps some of you out! Plus, if you're on the line thinking if you want to test out the mineral shadows or not, this is the perfect time! Make good use of their promotion, pick up some ELF products you've always been wanting to try (min $30.. and oh, if you're new to ELF, i'd totally recommend the studio line! especially the brushes!! :D) and then get 10 mineral eyeshadows FOR FREE! If you're interested, just click below and start adding ;) happy shopping!
